Local tips
Svíčková (beef sirloin in cream sauce) is the Czech national dish — ask your host for a non-tourist version.
Prague has excellent trams running all night. Single tram ticket covers metro + tram.
Žižkov is Prague's bar district — dense with unique pubs and live music venues.
Holešovice is the up-and-coming art district with galleries, craft coffee, and a great farmers market.
Avoid exchange offices on tourist streets — they have terrible rates. Use ATMs from major banks.
